Champlain Valley B.A.S.S. Club: Embracing Growth and Expanding Horizons
Change is an inevitable part of progress, and for our bass fishing community, this year marks an exciting transformation. Formerly known as the Rutland B.A.S.S. Club, we have officially rebranded as the Champlain Valley B.A.S.S. Club to better reflect our expanding presence and appeal to a broader audience of anglers across Vermont and New York.
A Name That Represents Our Growth
During our last tournament season, club members came together to make a pivotal decision—adopting a name that aligns with our mission and growth. While we have deep roots in Rutland, we recognized the need to extend our reach beyond a single region. Our new name, Champlain Valley B.A.S.S. Club, embodies our commitment to serving anglers along the entire western border of Vermont and New York, with Lake Champlain as a primary fishery.
Expanding Tournament Locations
As part of our evolution, we are thrilled to announce that our fishing tournaments will now extend into the northern regions of Vermont. This expansion provides our members with fresh opportunities to explore new waters, compete at a higher level, and connect with more anglers who share a passion for bass fishing. With Lake Champlain being a top-tier fishery, we aim to enhance the tournament experience while fostering a stronger sense of community among participants from a wider geographical range.
New Branding, Same Passion
With our new identity comes an updated logo, website, and social media presence. We are actively migrating to our new branding, ensuring that members and followers stay informed and engaged. Our goal is to maintain the same dedication to competitive fishing, camaraderie, and conservation while welcoming a growing community of anglers who love the sport.
Looking Ahead
The Champlain Valley B.A.S.S. Club is more than just a new name—it’s a symbol of our commitment to growth, inclusivity, and excellence in bass fishing. We’re excited about the journey ahead and look forward to seeing both new and returning members on the water. Stay tuned for upcoming tournament schedules, club events, and more ways to get involved!
Tight lines, and we’ll see you out on the water!
